Adam Yore is an Assistant Professor in the Finance Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. Professor Yore's research focuses on corporate governance, and he is currently conducting studies in executive compensation, board structure, exchange listings and managerial integrity.

He has published his research in top peer-reviewed scholarly journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Empirical Finance, The Financial Review, the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance. He has also presented at the annual meetings of the American Finance Association, the Society for Financial Studies and the Financial Management Association as well as at several other international, national and regional finance conferences. 

Professor Yore's work has been honored with several best paper awards and research grants. It also has been cited by media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, the Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Bloomberg, Fox Business and CNN Money.

Professor Yore's primary teaching interest is in corporate finance. He currently teaches the undergraduate financial management course and the Ph.D.-level corporate finance seminar at the University of Missouri. In prior semesters, he has taught corporate finance and principles of finance courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels.

Professor Yore was a member of the finance faculty at Northern Illinois University before coming to the University of Missouri. He earned his Ph.D. from Drexel University in Philadelphia. While at Drexel, his dissertation was chosen as the winner of the Excellence in Ethics Dissertation Proposal Competition hosted by the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Ethical Business Worldwide. He also earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and leadership at the University of South Florida and a BS BA in Decision and Information Science from the University of Florida.
