Alex Rainville

PhD Student

Alex Rainville is a graduate student at the University of Missouri, Robert J. Trulaske Sr., College of Business. His research interests include upper echelon theory and top management team psychology, especially its influence on corporate strategy and significant corporate transactions; executive rivalry; corporate governance and structural bias; and interference from regulators and its impact on executive decision making. Prior to his pursuit of a Ph.D., Rainville worked as an attorney, both at a law firm and in-house, as well as an analyst for a strategy consulting firm. Prior to that, he spent time as an aide for members of the United States House of Representatives.
