Meet the Team

Claire is a junior from St. Louis, Missouri, studying marketing. She loves to travel, sing in Mizzou’s co-ed acapella group, and play with her chocolate lab. Claire is a transfer student from Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. She was a counselor for Camp Trulaske last year and is excited to be a director!

Matt is a sophomore from Columbia, Missouri. He is an international business major with an emphasis in finance and Spanish. He loves to play guitar, travel, fly fish and take long walks on the beach with his greyhound, Cici. Fun Facts: Matt was born on campus at University Hospital. His Camp Trulaske experience includes being a camper, a counselor and, now, a director!

Cayla is a junior from Centralia, Missouri, studying management, leadership and public service, and she is earning a multicultural certificate. She transferred from Moberly Area Community College after earning her Associate of Arts in business. Cayla enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, photography and spending time with her family. She has participated in Camp Trulaske as a camper, counselor and now director!

Colby is a junior from St. Peters, Missouri, studying accountancy. He loves to play sports, hike, travel and watch "The Office." Camp Trulaske allowed Colby to come out of his shell during his freshman year. The following year, he became a counselor, and now, he is one of its directors.

Joe is a sophomore marketing and sales student from Moline, Illinois. He was a camper his freshman year and a counselor this past fall. Outside of camp Joe is a tour guide for Mizzou and on Mizzou’s wakeboarding team. Naturally, his favorite part of camp is anytime he can be on the water. He will be presenting and tabling for camp at Summer Welcome, so make sure to say hi when you sign up for camp.

Liz is a sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska. She is an international business major with an emphasis in marketing and German. She loves to run, listen to music, travel to new places and spend time outdoors. Fun Fact: Liz and Joe met on the bus ride down to camp freshman year! She then was a counselor, and she is now a director!
